 Being present doesn't always mean being productive. Presenteeism and absenteeism both impact productivity and the bottom line.   

Mental health issues account for 30-40% of short-term disability (STD) claims and 30% of long-term disability (LTD) claims in Canada. In fact, poor mental health in the workplace costs the Canadian economy $50 billion a year. (2a)
